Embracing Life
Bolder, more connected to the world

For a mom, embracing life is to be bolder and more connected to the world and people around. Take my friend Jill’s example, she is smart, kind, gentle and ambitious, all of hallmarks of a strong mother and wife. She never spoke a cross word with anyone, always manage a smile and encouraging words, even as her world was unraveling due husband cheated on her. She believes in God and His power, and her faith was a force, and it shows in how she handled herself. DO NOT BE negative, always complaining, woe-is-me kind of folks.
Rather, from the errors of other, a “wise” person corrects her own.
Try to eat right and exercise, even if it seems hard to do or lack of motivation.
In the end, your body is the only thing that stay with you so take care its need first.
I am not talking about going out there to do things beyond your means or without any thought given. Let your instinct and better judgement guide you like an internal compass.
This might mean a quiet morning coffee before the day begins or a workout session to clear the mind. It's also about celebrating the small victories, both at work and at home, recognizing that each step forward is an achievement. Go out more and live life as it should be live.
Emotional well-being is just as vital, with open communication and healthy outlets for stress being key to maintaining mental health. In the end, embracing life as a working mom is about embracing growth, change, and the beautiful complexity of being a provider, a caretaker, and an individual with dreams and goals. It's a challenging yet rewarding path, filled with lessons and love that shape not just a career or a family, but a fulfilling life.
